Since the launch of the Reconnect collection product range, Realturf has firmly committed to developing more sustainable products, embracing circular economy principles and offering solutions to reduce the environmental impact of artificial turf without compromising its performance.
Today, the collection is expanding with new models that incorporate technologies such as Everback and Primeback, marking another step forward towards fully recyclable artificial turf—manufactured with responsibility and traceability at every stage of the process.
Sustainable evolution through mono-material construction and recyclable backings
The new Reconnect models are built with a mono-material approach: both fibres and backing are made from polyolefins of the same family, allowing the entire product to be recycled through mechanical processes, without the need for material separation or complex treatments.
These advances are possible due to technologies like Everback—Realturf’s first 100% recyclable backing—and Primeback, which, in addition to being recyclable, features a micro-perforated structure that significantly enhances the product’s drainage capacity.
Both systems offer a concrete and verifiable solution to the challenges posed by recycling products made with incompatible materials.
Local manufacturing and carbon footprint control
Artificial turf in the Reconnect collection is manufactured at Realturf Factory in Crevillente, Spain, enabling reduced transportation emissions and full control over the value chain. From raw material selection to packaging, the entire process is traceable and certified under the Zero Waste standard, ensuring responsible waste management and production with minimal waste.
In addition, some Reconnect models include recycled materials in their composition, helping to extend the life cycle of plastic resources within a circular manufacturing model.
Reconnect: More than recycling, a comprehensive approach
The expansion of the Reconnect range not only meets growing market demand but reflects an industrial strategy that balances sustainability, durability, and technical performance.
Artificial turf in this range also contributes to water conservation, reduces the need for chemical products maintenance, and eliminates the use of fertilizers—helping to lower the environmental footprint of gardens, public areas, and sports facilities.
Furthermore, complementary initiatives such as B.Pure—a technology capable of neutralizing bacteria and odours—and programs like Socialturf strengthen the brand’s broader commitment to environmental and social responsibility.
More solutions for a circular future
With the expansion of Reconnect, Realturf not only adds new models to its portfolio but also consolidates a product offering based on genuine, verifiable sustainability. Rather than partial solutions, this collection provides tangible benefits: total recyclability, waste reduction, impact control, and local manufacturing.
A decisive step toward a new generation of surfaces that are environmentally responsible—without compromising on quality, technology, or design.
